Yanga target to unseat Simba

The game is important to Yanga because a win will steer them to the top of the 16-team league, overcoming Simba SC who currently lead with 57 points. A draw for the Jangwani Street side - now placed second with 56 points - will make them tie with Simba, the leader being decided by goal difference.

Simba will, however, be praying that Mtibwa Sugar win the game for them to continue topping the Vodacom sponsored soccer league.
Third-placed Azam FC who have 55 points and Simba have played 24 games each while defending champions Yanga have so far played 23 matches.
The top three are in the title race and any of them who lose a match at this late stage will be out of the race.
Yanga will lead for hours if they beat Mtibwa Sugar before Simba return on top incase they beat Toto Africa tomorrow.
Mtibwa Sugar are in the fourth place with 43 points from 25 games while Toto are in the 11th place with 23 points out of 27 games.
Other matches which are on the menu are Coastal Union facing JKT Ruvu at the Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga, along with Ndanda FC locking horns with Kagera Sugar at the Nangwanda Sijaona grounds in Mtwara.
